We have prepared several tips based on our expertise to help you better navigate financial challenges and strengthen financial security for you and your family.
- Monitor activity in your credit history to prevent fraudulent loans and creditor errors.
You can receive a basic set of notifications — about a request for your credit history for the purpose of issuing a loan and about a new loan being added — free of charge by subscribing to the relevant notifications in Diia. This will allow you to respond promptly in the event of an attempted fraud by contacting the respective creditor.
The StatusControl service provides more control and protection. In particular, by activating it, you will not miss the occurrence of an overdue payment or the opening of enforcement proceedings. You will also be able to track whether a creditor has closed the loan agreement after you have repaid the loan, as well as identify possible errors or inaccuracies in the data reported about you by a creditor. - Block creditors’ access to your credit history with the FREEZE option for more reliable protection against fraudulent loans.
The FREEZE option is available with the StatusControl service. By activating it, you prohibit any new creditors from accessing your data and notify them that you do not wish to obtain a new loan. You can easily deactivate the option at any time when you actually need to apply for a loan and activate it again afterwards. At the same time, your existing creditors can continue requesting your data for monitoring purposes, so this will not interfere with using, for example, an existing credit line on your card. - Prepare for borrowing in advance and carefully consider your choice of lender and lending terms.
Before applying for a loan, check your credit history and credit rating to make sure there are no errors or inaccuracies that could prevent your loan application from being approved, and assess what can be improved before applying. For example, if you have any current overdue payments, they should be paid off. If you have an open loan agreement that can be closed, it is worth doing so. Avoid unnecessary loan applications and try to choose the best available lending terms based on the current state of your credit history.
Ideally, you should monitor your credit history on an ongoing basis. This way, you can be confident that whenever you need to, you can apply for a loan and obtain it on favorable terms. - Take care of your family and loved ones at no additional cost.
In many families, one person takes care of financial matters, so we have added the ability to monitor the credit histories of family members with their consent. You get the same capabilities as with your own credit history: you can receive notifications, request reports freely, and manage the FREEZE option, while paying only for your own StatusControl. - Protect your deals and cooperation with others — check counterparties and property you are planning to buy or rent.
In addition to credit histories, UBCH collects and processes data from open sources and state registers. In particular, we offer the ability to check any individual for debts under enforcement proceedings, property rights and encumbrances on movable and immovable property, and passports against registers of stolen and lost documents, as well as obtain detailed dossiers on sole proprietors and companies — these and other services are available through the «Monitorno» bot on Viber and Telegram. Most checks are available free of charge, while paid detailed property and encumbrance reports are included in the package as part of the StatusControl service, so by using it, you get maximum value and flexibility.
